With major modifications permitted only in the area of safety, the cars raced in the Continental Sports Car Challenge Series features the same Porsches seen on streets and highways worldwide. This is the only professional road racing series in the world that features a Porsche 911 Carrera or Porsche Cayman S chassis originally built for street use. This series is the final disconnect between the road going 911s and Caymans you drive home from the dealership and the purpose built GT3 Cup cars from Porsche Motorsport built solely for racing reasons to be run in the Rolex Sports Car Series.
BGB Motorsports has been professionally developing, supporting and now building Porsche 911 model race cars and now Cayman S race cars for wheel to wheel Grand-Am competition since 2004. Recently however, more and more classes at the club racing level are taking form to provide an additional home for these spec Porsches. With the introduction of the Porsche Club of America's GTB class for 997 Carreras, the Sports Car Club of America's addition of the 911 Carrera S in Touring 1, and the GTS classes in NASA, now more than ever, there are more and more places to race these cars.
BGB is currently seeking customers looking to build their Porsche to the next level. With the team's running of and development of the new Porsche Cayman S platform in 2010, we offer varying degrees of buildout for the customer that wants to start with a D/E or track day Porsche Cayman or 911, all the way up to the customer that wants to run for a Championship in Continental Tire competition.
