2009: Competed in 5 Grand-Am Koni Challenge GS races in a Fall-Line built and supported E92 BMW M3, with a best finish of 6th at Homestead Miami.

2008: Competed in the entire 10 race Grand-Am Koni Challenge Series in the GS class, with Playboy Racing in a BMW M3.

Campaigned a 2005 Porsche GT3 Cup in SCCA GT2 Class in selected National races. Won June Sprints, finished 3rd in Cen-Div National Championship.

2007: Ran in 8 of 12 Grand-Am Koni Challenge GS class races for Fall-Line Motorsports in a BMW M3. 3 top 10 Finishes, with a best finish of 3rd at Homestead Miami Speedway.

Career Highlights:
2009: Finished 12th in Rolex Sports Car Series GT points standings, notching 10 consecutive top 10s with bests of fifth twice, driving for Riegel Autosport with co-driver John Potter.

2008: Contested the entire 2008 Continental Tire Challenge Series season driving a Porsche 997 for BGB Motorsports with Tim Traver for the first race and then Jon Miller for the rest of the season. Stanton brought home two wins and a 2nd place finish that were used to create six top-10 finishes. Those results earned the Porsche pilot 4th place in the 2008 Continental Tire Series Driver's Championship and contributed to BGB's finish 4th in the Team Championship.

2007: Competed in five Rolex Series GT races, notching three top 10s.

Finished third in Continental Tire Challenge Series Grand Sport driver points, claiming three podiums to close the season.

2006: Made one Rolex Series start, finishing 22nd in GT class of Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Made nine Continental Tire Challenge Series starts with best finish of second at Mid-Ohio.

2005: Won the Rolex Series GT championship with 13 top-seven finishes. He had two second-place finishes (Mont-Tremblant, Barber).

Finished second in the Grand-Am Cup season finale at VIR.

2004: Won the Grand-Am Cup Grand Sport (GS) championship with six class wins.

Won Rolex Series SGS class at Miami and finished second at Phoenix. Finished second in the Porsche Cup.

2000: Competed in NASCAR Late Model Series and drove Trophy Truck-class entry in the SCORE Baja 2000.

1999: Competed in USRRC, driving a GT3 R Porsche for Reiser-Callas. Finished Rolex 24 At Daytona and placed third in class at 12 Hours of Sebring.

1998: Became team manager, race and test driver for GTI Racing, a Nissan factory team in Speedvision Cup.

1997: Earned Speedvision Cup Rising Star Award and a second in series' points with two wins.

1989: Competed in Formula Mazda and California Regional SCCA.

1986: Finished fourth in regional point standings in Sports Renault.

Early Career: After a successful career in motocross/ super-cross, Stanton moved into auto racing in 1986. In his first year he finished fourth in regional championship points in Sports Renault. In his second season, he earned 22 wins, 17 pole positions in 49 races entered across five regions. In 1988, he entered 41 races, winning 29. 1989, Stanton moved on to Formula Mazda and competed in California regional SCCA sedan races winning a three-hour event in SSGT-class. In 1990, he continued to compete in open wheel joining USAC’s Formula 2000 Pro Series. From 1991-‘95, Stanton continued competing in both open wheel and sedan racing finishing as high as third in national points in the SSGT-class. He also raced a USAC Midget and won several California Region three hour endurance events.
