Goodridge High Performance SS Brake Lines - 981/98 GOODRIDGE HIGH PERFORMANCE SS BRAKE LINES - 981/987

Goodridge G-Stop High Performance Brakeline race-bred street brake lines are constructed from the finest quality hose, consisting of a PTFE inner hose covered by braided stainless steel. In addition to providing a more responsive and firm brake pedal by eliminating the “spongy” feel that often accompanies stock rubber brake lines, G-Stop High Performance Brakelines are abrasion and corrosion resistant to stay good looking for a long time to come.
Goodridge G-Stop High Performance Brakeline Kits are direct bolt-on replacements for all of the rubber brake lines in the vehicle’s brake system. (Three to six brake lines are included in each kit depending on the vehicle’s original design). To ensure proper fit and easy installation, hose ends and brake line brackets that match the vehicle’s original equipment style are used for each application.
By conforming to all requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Number 106, Goodridge G-Stop High Performance Brakelines are U.S. Department of Transportation certified and T.U.V. approved. All Goodridge G-Stop High Performance Brakelines go through a 9-point Quality Assurance testing process that includes measuring tensile strength and the ability to contain line pressure to 3,000 pounds per square inch.

Brake components should be installed by a competent mechanic in a professional manner. Any incorrect installation of brake components can cause a major safety problem or an accident. If you are not a competent and qualified mechanic you should not attempt to install these products, but should take the vehicle to a vehicle dealer or competent automotive mechanic for their installation.

Disc brake pads and rotors are wear items and as such, should be inspected regularly and replaced as necessary.

Rear Pagid Brake Pad Set RS29 REAR PAGID BRAKE PAD SET RS29

Best compound for endurance racing on the basis of the RS14. A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1,100°F) are possible. The combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) realised with this material is unmatched up to now. Due to its excellent release characteristics and controllability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. A multiple winner of Daytona 24h, Le Mans 24h, Sebring 12h, Spa 24 h, Nürburgring 24h, often with no pad change and usually no disc (rotor) change.

RS29 combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Due to its excellent driveability PAGID endurance materials are also often used for sprint races.

Girodisc Rear 325mm 2-Piece Rotor Upgrade Cayman GIRODISC REAR 325mm 2-PIECE ROTOR UPGRADE FOR 981 BOXSTER/CAYMAN S

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc with the addition of our provided caliper spacers. Our rotor is slightly larger than the OEM rotor at 325mm versus 298mm providing greater braking force and cooling capacity.

The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from our own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 8 or 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.

Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc with the addition of our provided caliper spacers and longer bolts. Our rotor is slightly larger than the OEM rotor at 340mm versus 317mm providing greater braking force and cooling capacity.

The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from our own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc with the addition of our provided caliper spacers. Our rotor is slightly larger than the OEM rotor at 350mm versus 340mm providing greater braking force and cooling capacity. The Girodisc front rotors are approx 21.0 lbs vs. 24.4 lbs for the stock units. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.

The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from our own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc.
